Резюме на английском языке:  The article is given, functional clustering logic of the region's economy and its social dimension, as well as topical issues of clustering regional economy. It is the goal is to explore the possibility of clustering economy Yuzhno-Kazakhstan oblast, as a promising direction of the economic development of the region. Formulated scientific tasks, the study identified the logic and its structure.
